New Nokia N81
The new Nokia N81 is the first mobile phone to include the new Nokia N-Gage gaming platform. It’s also a very capable 3G Smartphone with a large 2.4” QVGA display and advanced media functions including a new 3D multimedia interface.
The key buttons on the front of the Nokia N81 are completely flush but the feature with wow factor is the silver touch sensitive control pad. By flowing your thumb around the pad you can intuitively scroll through menus and options. The pad is also used to play games. Other keys on the front of the N81 are completely flush and the gaming keys above the display only light up when required.
Feature wise, there’s a 2 megapixel camera and also a secondary VGA video call camera. The N81 also has Wi-fi, Bluetooth, Symbian OS 9.2 with Nokia Series 60 v3.1 user interface, excellent MP3 player, FM radio and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The standard Nokia N81 comes with a microSD slot and a 2GB microSD card, while the more expensive Nokia N81 8GB has no card slot but comes with 8GB of internal memory.
